EAGC 2020 Poker Run
A scholarship fundraiser event.
The poker run is a fundraiser in which each pilot flies/driver drives to 4 participating airports and picks up a card per stop. Start at any of the participating airports, then stop at 1-3 additional and end in Crestview at Emerald Coast Aviation for scoring. Passengers may also purchase poker hands.

Stu Jones and the Florida Powerboat Club Members make their way in the middle of August through the beautiful gulf waters. A 25 mile run in beautiful weather for a great poker run.

Who can participate?
Anyone! Pilots, auto drivers, motorcycle riders, and passengers may participate. Insurance for your mode of transportation must be current.
Which airports are on the route?
The 2019 Poker Run airports will open at 8:30 am and the participating stops are:

Do I have to land/drive to every airport?
No, you do not have to land or drive to any additional airports but we hope you do for the valuable experience. You may pick up remaining cards to complete your hand at the terminus (KJKA). Pilots, there is no need to stretch your personal limits at an airport with strong crosswinds. Drivers, there is not need to exceed the speed limit in order to reach an airport.
What time do I need to be at the terminus?
Please arrive at KJKA, Jack Edwards National Airport, Salt Air Aviation Center no later than 12:30 pm. Prizes will be awarded at 1:30 pm. You must be present to claim a prize.
How do I register?
Contact Terri B. at (559) 618-0159 or at 99pilots@gmail.com to obtain the registration packet and purchase as many hands as you would like. Additional hands will be available at the terminus (KJKA) for $20.
Box lunches are available for $5. Please purchase your box lunch when you register or bring your own lunch.
Once registered, you will receive a text from Terri B. confirming the number of cards to pick up at each airport.
Other Important Information!
One card per hand is drawn at each airport.
Remember, this in NOT a race. Please take your time and most importantly, be safe. If you are flying and weather is marginal or beyond your personal limits at one of the airports, don’t land.
If weather is bad on the day of the Poker Run, a notice will be posted by 7:30 am and the Poker run will be moved to a rain date of October 5th. You may also contact Terri B. at (559) 618-0159.
Scoring: Standard Five Card Draw. No Jokers or Wild cards. Points will be assessed not only for hands, but for card values within hands. Your hands will be put onto a score sheet for tallying upon arriving at the terminus.
